Online middle school curriculum includes English, social studies, math, science and options such as World Languages, Art Appreciation, Intro to Coding, Study Skills, Careers, CCR, music and health. These students may also be able to participate in unique electives such as cross country, band, choir or orchestra on-site at DTSOI. All courses keep students on track to graduate. Students can choose when and where they will log in, as virtual education is accessible all day, every day, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, wherever students have access to the internet. Students access curriculum through LMS such as Edgenuity, Empower and Google Classroom. 

Middle school students will utilize their school-issued Chromebooks to complete assignments. Online learners are required to meet once weekly on Zoom with their advisory teacher to discuss progress.
